Tummy Time and Our Weekend Adventures

We have been trying to give Spencer more time on his tummy lately and this week he started rolling over from his tummy to his back. It kind of startles him when he rolls over but then he seems kind of pleased with himself once he is on his back. Here are some pictures of him practicing his rolling.

He seems a little startled that he has rolled over! That face soon changes to a look of satisfaction!

We also found out that Spencer would probably trade in his pacifier for his thumb if we let him! I caught him sucking his thumb on Saturday night when we were out to dinner.

Spencer was so good this weekend! We spent our time shopping with my grandma and two aunts who came to visit my family for an annual "girls weekend." We went to lots of stores and restaurants, visited the Buddy Holly Center at the request of my grandma, and in general messed up any sense of daily routine Spencer had. He was a real trooper to let me drag him around all over the place. I was also able to get a four generations picture with my grandma, mom, me, and Spencer. It was a very fun weekend!
