Today, Spencer and I went to a local peach orchard and picked peaches (or rather I picked and Spencer watched). My sister-in-law invited me to come along with her and my friend Sarah. We picked 35 pounds worth of peaches (along with the 4 or 5 I ate while I was picking :) )! So we now have peaches coming out our ears. I came home and made a great peach cobbler tonight for dessert and also some peach freezer jam. Tomorrow I plan on learning to can some with my sis-in-laws. It is amazing what a difference the taste of freshly picked fruit makes! They are delicious!

We are just peachy!
