I have a bag problem...

I have a problem that I hope you can help me out with.

My life is being taken over by bags.

Now this problem may be excacerbated by the fact that I am working with VERY limited space. (It is not easy living a 3 bedroom, 2 bath life in 2 bedrooms worth of space if ya know what I'm sayin'...) And while I am very grateful to have this space...it is driving me CRAZY!

It seems that there is a bag for every function in my life:

1. My purse
2. My Pampered Chef bag (I take to shows with all my paperwork in it)
3. The church bag (taken to church with all manner of distractions for Spencer)
4. My bag for Activity Days (my church calling)
5. the ever present reusable grocery bag filled with odds and ends
6. and last but not least...the take to the pool bag (usually makes its appearance in the warmer months)

(please divert your eyes from the unmade bed...thank you)

That is 6 bags!

Now I have convinced myself that each of these bags serves a very specific and important purpose. And with better managing of the reusable shopping bags I think I can cut out one bag. But I cannot figure out what to do with all these bags! I clean the bedroom only to feel like the bedroom is still messy because the bags are all lined up on the floor. Someday I hope to have a grand closet with shelves and shelves of storage space to place these bags... :)

Until then, I hope that you can give me some suggestions for managing this bag problem. How do you corral all your bags? Do you have as many bags as I do? Any creative ideas for organizing these bags in a small space? Without some sort of intervention I think I might just find myself stuck in a bag after a middle-of-the-night-run-to-the-bathroom-in-the-dark-stumble-and-fall kind of situation, ya know?
