Spencer and I went to see the new movie Horton Hears a Who yesterday with my mom and Preston. I highly recommend this movie if you have a chance to go see it! It was a very family friendly movie with a good moral. It was Spencer's 2nd time to see a movie in the theater, but the first time he was actually interested in watching it. He seemed very intrigued by what was going on on the big screen though it did take him some time to get used to the loud sounds in the movie. The movie held his attention for quite awhile though he did eventually doze off for a cat-nap. It will be many months before he is fully able to enjoy the movie experience - eating popcorn and drinking coke, sitting in his own seat, understanding the plot, etc. Until then he will just have to sit on mom's lap and watch her eat popcorn!

Maybe one of these days I'll be brave enough to take Lyndon to the movies. He's 2.5 years old now and he hasn't been to a movie since he was just a few weeks old (he couldn't see much of the movie from the vantage point of his infant carrier nor could he have from a different vantage point since he slept the whole time).
