An Apple a Day... Apple Picking at the Orchard

Last week Spencer and I, along with my sister-in-law Krista and her two girls, went out to the apple orchard in Idalou to pick apples. It was the first day for picking granny smith apples and there were alot of big, beautiful ripe apples for the pickin'! It was a nice cool day and we had a really good time. I have since tried making some homemade apple butter, which turned out really well and was super easy and delicious! We still have apples practically coming out our ears but I guess they will help keep the doctor away!
