Pumpkin Happiness

Last night we went to Lubbock's 1st Pumpkin Trail. You can read more about it here. There were over 600 pumpkins to see! It was a really neat idea and a great way to get ideas for carving our own pumpkins. Just a small way for our little family to enjoy some fall happiness! Here is a couple of pics from our night out:

All along the trail different businesses and organizations had displays of pumpkins set up to advertise. This was my favorite display from a local news station. You know you are in Lubbock when your local news anchors faces' are drawn on pumpkins!

Isn't this peacock pumpkin so cool? Yay for NBC!


After we walked the trail we treated ourselves to ice cream - what better way to end a cold, windy day than with ice cream? It makes me cold, but happy just thinking about it... :)
